Hi, I'm Gabi.  I love cameras and lighting, obviously, and my career path through the camera department has given my work a strong technical foundation.  I thrive on new challenges, and dream of shooting work which inspires positive social change, whether it be through fiction, documentary, music or art.  I love faces, and the stories they can tell, and framing them in ways which are intimate and compelling.  Connecting with directors to bring a vision of a script to life, brings me great joy.  I would like to live in a kinder, greener, fairer world, and I hope my work reflects that.

Awards stuff

 4 times nominated and twice won best Cinematography at Underwire festival, for 'Sis' – which was also BIFA nominated and won multiple awards worldwide – and for 'The Treehouse'. 
Short films 'My Time' 'First Disco' 'Duck Daze' and 'This Time Away' have screened and won awards at festivals including LA shorts, NFTTY, First Glance, London Film Festival, and Edinburgh Festival. 'My Time' was longlisted for an Academy Award, and 'This Time Away' for a BAFTA in 2019.  In 2024-5 'Safe' screened and won awards at over 20 Festivals and was BAFTA longlisted. 
Work with artist filmmakers has been shown at Oberhausen, The Royal Academy in London, and at the Kubrick exhibition at Somerset House. 

As a camera operator, I was part of a team nominated for the Operators Award for work on Ep 1 of A Thousand Blows.  

In 2026 The Assembly won an RTS award and was nomnated for a BAFTA for Best Factual Entertainment.
